Palm Beach State College Lab

Students learn how to use a pH meter and how to adjust their solutions to the proper pH for an experiment. The state of the art biotechnology labs at Palm Beach State College house 3 separate labs including their own designated tissue culture room. Within these labs, you will find equipment that major research and development companies have including a FPLC, HPLC, RT-PCR, GC/MS and a Multimode Plate Reader. The program covers material from DNA/RNA and protein isolation and characterization, to tissue culture techniques and a survey of instrumentation.
