Follow Up - Summer Fellows 2012 (part 1): Linkedin Alumni Page
Bio-Link Summer Fellows left us all with many ideas, and a matching enthusiasm - for sure. A bunch of fellows, including myself, are making new connections via Linkedin. Today I also launched an MCC Biotech Alumni group on Linkedin. The main purpose is to maintain the energy, the culture we have created with our alumni. Fellows at the conference who already have Alumni Linkedin groups say it also helps with tracking data (needed for grant proposals or reports). In the fall we will be building on this by following the lead of other programs and having current students create Linkedin profiles as part of their professional development training.
I plan to blog this tale as it plays out.
