Fluorescence/Optical Microscopy

Microscopy is the art and science using a microscope and capturing information in the form of images.

A 1 year certificate program in microscopy is designed to make students proficient in the practice and familiar with the theory of diverse forms of microscopy.

Courses include introduction to biology and microscopy, followed by courses in fluorescence or optical microscopy, digital imaging software for microscopy, research design, immunohistochemistry, visualization of live cells, and confocal microscopy.

Internships are often included.
