Bio-Link Affiliates are the many different companies, schools, and organizations that help support and collaborate with the Bio-Link community and individual Bio-Link programs. Bio-Link programs often partner with high schools to offer professional development opportunities, summer camps for students, and integrated pathways from high school to college. Colleges and Universities that have transfer agreements with Bio-Link programs or work with Bio-Link programs can also be affiliate members.
Companies, organizations, and institutions can be affiliate Bio-Link members. Many companies assist Bio-Link programs by serving on industry advisory boards and working with colleges to ensure that students are well-prepared for jobs in the biotech industry. As a whole, the Bio-Link community works with professional societies, such as the AAAS, and organizations such as CCURI, BABEC, and JBEI, to promote quality teaching, and create opportunities for student learning and faculty development.
