Program description: 
Graduates of Springfield Technical Community College’s biotechnology program are able to transfer directly into the bachelor of science degree program at Westfield State University. This program offers a Bachelor's Degree in biology with a concentration in biotechnology.  In addition to the Bachelor's Degree STCC also offers a fast-track program that enables a student to acquire current biotechnology skills in one year. This certificate program is specifically designed for students who wish to obtain the skills and knowledge necessary for direct employment in the biotechnology industry.
